When asked how the donation would be used, Aaron Gibbs, FFA President replied, \u201cIt costs a lot of money to send our officers and delegates to region and state leadership conferences. That\u2019s probably where the bulk of it will be spent.\u201d In making the presentation to the club, Eskridge Shelton, Cattlemen\u2019s President commented, \u201c We\u2019re always pleased to be able to support our local students who are preparing to be the farmers and agriculture leaders in the next generation. I\u2019m sure the money will be put to good use.\u201d The Whitley County Cattlemen\u2019s Association is a local organization that assists farmers with the multitude of activities surrounding raising cattle and managing a farm. Anyone with an interest in farming or raising cattle are encouraged to become a member.
