Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley pronounced Perry W. Farris, 46, of Keavy, dead at 7:20 p.m. According to a Kentucky State Police release, Farris was driving a 2007 GMC Canyon pick-up truck south on Browning Acres Road about 6:36 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the roadway hitting a guy wire and utility pole before rolling his vehicle onto its top. Farris is believed to have died instantly, and his body had to be extricated from the vehicle, Croley said. No drug or alcohol involvement is suspected, but a toxicology test will be performed, which is routine procedure in the event of a fatal crash, Croley noted. The body was not sent for an autopsy. Farris was wearing his seatbelt, according to the KSP release. Croley said that he isn\u2019t sure why Farris went off the road, and to his knowledge there was no medical problem or other contributing factors. Farris\u2019 funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Oct. 9 at Bowling Funeral Home in London. Raymond Hampton will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Farris Cemetery in East Bernstadt. KSP Trooper Briston Smith is investigating the crash, and was assisted at the scene by other KSP officers, members of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Whitley County EMS, the Whitley County Sheriff\u2019s Department, Whitley County Coroner\u2019s Office, and Constable Ron \u201cBubba\u201d Bowling."}
