Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Strunk arrested Lalo Hill, who is also identified in court records as Lalo Kilbury, about 10:29 p.m. Sunday at his Cowbell Lane residence, and served him with an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree robbery. The warrant, which was obtained by Todd Streetman, alleged that on July 17, Hill/Kilbury and another man, who hasn’t been arrested in connection with the incident, used or threatened the use of physical force with the intent to accomplish a theft, according to the warrant. Hill/Kilbury allegedly pushed his way into Streetman’s home, taking anything he wanted and told Streetman that if he called the police, then Hill/Kilbury and the other individual would kill him, his daughter and his mother, and would burn down Streetman’s home with everyone in it, according to the warrant. Hill/Kilbury pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Monday afternoon in Whitley District Court. Judge Cathy Prewitt appointed the public advocate’s office to represent Hill/Kilbury, set a July 30 preliminary hearing in his case and left his bond set at $7,500 cash.
