He was born to the late Chester Nichols and the late Virginia (Gin) Frazier on March 21, 1947 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya Ellon Nichols; and sister, Francis Martin. He is survived by one son, Michael ‘Mike’ Nichols (Tina) of Rockholds, Kentucky: he is also survived by one daughter, Tanya Chambers (Mike) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two stepsons, Arnold Richmond (Tilenna) of Rockholds, Kentucky and Danny Richmond (Gloria) of Perth, Australia; mother of his children, Geneva (Davis) Richmond of Rockholds, Kentucky; grandchildren, Leah Holmes (AJ) of Corbin, Kentucky, Jared Nichols (Karle Thompson) of Mississippi, and Sonya ‘Nikkie’ Chadwell (Chris) of Elk Valley, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Abrian Holmes, Maddex Holmes, Kylie Chadwell, and Carter Chadwell; two sisters, Betty Lawson (Ken) of Williamsburg and Cora Hill (Everett) of Williamsburg. Troy Boy sure did love you all. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, at 6:00 pm at the Croley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 6, at 1:00 pm at the Croley Funeral Home.
