He was born on October 21, 1985 in Corbin, to the late Robert Henry Lawson and Ima Jean (Centers) Lawson. Travis was a project manager and estimator for Randy Walker Electrical and Communications Company. He is survived by his fiancé Scarlet Wagner and her daughter Lexi of Lexington; his aunts, Mary Stamper of Corbin, Pat Heath of Knoxville, TN, Hannah Wright of Pine Knot, and Vicky Paul, Fran Paul and Tina Lawson of Williamsburg; uncles, Jimmy Paul and Gary Paul of Williamsburg; and a host other family and friends to mourn his passing. The funeral service was held Monday, August 6, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Bush officiating. Following a graveside service on Tuesday, August 7, he was laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery. Travis gave the Gift of Life through the Kentucky Organ Donor Association.
