He was born November 20, 1963 in Jellico, TN. Rick was preceded in death by sons, Riley Miracle Barnes, Thomas Wade Barnes; grandson, Ragnar Hall; father, Rev. Verldon Barnes; mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Treadway Barnes; sisters, Carol Ann Barnes, Jeannie Leach. He is survived by his wife, Tina Stanfield Barnes; son, Ricky Barnes and Stacy; step-sons, Austin Stanfield and wife Jamie, Aaron Chandler, Andrew Chandler; daughter, Rebecca Barnes-Hall and husband Bobby; five grandchildren, Valek, Alexzander, Hinata and Athena Hall, Landon Barnes; bothers, Rev. Donald Barnes, David Barnes, John Barnes; sister, Vickie Perkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 at the Harp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Donald Barnes and Brandon Sartain officiating. Harp Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of arrangements.
