Born in Corbin, and was a CNA with Corbin Nursing Home. Susie loved her family.  Beyond loving her children, grandchildren and parents, she was a very special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Susie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Leland “Mailman” Ellison and by a brother, Robert Ellison III. She is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Campbell Ellison; sons, Eric Centers (Misty), and Ryan Centers; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Bryson, Jaelynn, Molly, and Mason Centers; sisters, Mary Biddle, Vicki Ellison, and Cindy Spicer; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will all mourn her passing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Fore and Rev. Darvin Wells officiating. Burial followed in Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.  Pall bearers were David Ellison, Mike Biddle, Robert Ellison III, Josh Spicer, Mark Eaton, and Margaret Ellison.
