She was preceded in death by three sisters Dora Canada, Argene Lanham, and Lexie Walker Bryant Ross; a brother Clarence Walker; sister-in-law Wanda Walker; brother-in-law Wofford Canada and parents Jim Walker and Minnie Petrey Walker. She is survived by: two sons, Timothy Cheek and Michael Cheek (Mellisa) both of Williamsburg; two grandchildren, Kurtis Michael Cheek (Jaycea) and Keisha Danielle Middleton (Richard) both of Williamsburg; two great-grandchildren Lilyan Grace Middleton and Luke Anthony Middleton;  two brothers: Elmer Walker and Chester Walker both of Williamsburg, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing. All services were private. She was laid to rest in the Walker Memorial Cemetery.
