He was born on October 3, 1978 in Corbin, to the late Royal Homer Tye and Cleo Gray Tye. He was preceded in death by his father Royal “Rabbit” Tye; and sister, Lisa Ann Tye. He is survived by his mother, Cleo Gray Tye of Corbin; brother, Speed Marcum Tye (Loretta) of Woodbine; nieces and nephews, Ashley Stephens, Amber Renfro, Speed Tye, and Zach Tye; special friends, Chris Bunch of Corbin and Kevin Smiddy of Keavy; aunts, uncles, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Joe Taylor officiating.
