The proposed mining area is approximately 0.5 miles south of Duck Run, Kentucky from the intersection of KY 1673 and Kidd Road at latitude 36° 42’ 52” and longitude 84° 19’ 13”. Blasting is proposed to occur Monday through Sunday, sunrise to sunset. Blasting will not be conducted during burial services within the immediate area or during normal church services. Entry to blasting area will be regulated by signs or barriers.
