Williamsburg resident Lt. William H. Elliotte (center) received his promotion certificate from Justice and Public Safety Cabinet Secretary J. Michael Brown (left) and Kentucky State Police Commissioner Rodney Brewer (right) in Frankfort on Dec. 9. A 17-year veteran of the agency, Elliotte is assigned to KSP Post 11 in London. A 1989 graduate of Whitley Co. High School and a 1995 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Elliotte is the son of Clara Buhl of Williamsburg.
