She was born February 25, 1983, in Jellico, Tennessee. Kendra is preceded in death by her father, Colin Massey; sister, Jenna LaRay Massey; grandmother, Helen Jean Collins; uncle, Harold Wayne Lay; and cousin, Jeannie Michelle Lay. She is survived by daughters, Taylor Elizabeth Marlowe, Peyton Riley Marlowe; mother, Sherrie Fay (Lay) Massey; special friend, Joshua Long; aunts, Julia Murphy, Pat Rice and husband Billy; cousins, Ariel Veach, Shonnie Sims, Ashley Lay, Charlie Slagle, Justin Singleton, and Christy Jones; and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, from 6-8 pm at the Harp Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 8 pm on Wednesday, April 19 at Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Walls and Rev. Randy Milton officiating. Burial will be at 1 pm on Thursday, April 20 in the Lay Cemetery, Red Cut, Pioneer, Tennessee Harp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
