On July 2, &#x201C;City Heat&#x201D; will perform as part of the summer block party season. All of the block parties are scheduled to take place from 8 &#x2013; 11 p.m. on their scheduled date at Bill Woods Park. In the event of inclement weather, the block parties will be moved to the Williamsburg Tourism and Convention Center. Williamsburg&#x2019;s Independence Day celebration activities will take place on Saturday, July 3, this year due to the Fourth of July falling on a Sunday. The first movies in the park will take place on July 9 in Bill Woods Park. It will start at &#x201C;dark-thirty.&#x201D; On July 16, another block party is planned with &#x201C;Superfecta&#x201D; performing. The following day on July 17, the inaugural Cumberland River Cruise-In will take place, which is slated to be a monthly car show starting in 2022. It will take place from noon &#x2013;&#xA0;7 p.m. around the old Whitley County Courthouse. The second movies in the park will take place on July 23, and will also be at Bill Woods Park at &#x201C;dark-thirty.&#x201D; The final block party of the season is scheduled for July 30 with &#x201C;Usual Suspects&#x201D; taking the stage. The second Cumberland River Cruise-In is slated for Aug. 21. In addition, the Whitley County Farmer&#x2019;s Market takes place from 5-7 p.m. each Thursday at Bill Woods Park.</description></oembed>
