She was born September 11, 1975 in Toledo, Ohio. Joyce Ann is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Jo “Jenny” Metzler Lay; sister, Jerri Lea Lay; brothers, Ricky Lynn Marlow, and Orvil Marlow, Jr.; grandparents, Claude and Maggie Kimberlin Metzler, Lily Taylor, and Tom Lay. She is survived by her father, Lonnie “Slim” Lay; daughters, Dakota Cheyenne Chesser “Bug” and Sienna Chesser “Chubby” and fiancé Charles Pittman and Raven Chesser; grandchildren, Zayvion Lay-Chesser “Zay” and Eretria Pittman “Ant”; significant other, H.D. Woods; sisters, Martha Clifton and husband Tim, Janice Latchford and husband Kenny, Angie Riley and husband Mike, Audrey Lavender and husband Patrick; and host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing. All services will be private with Rev. Junior Dople officiating. Harp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
