He was born on May 26, 1958 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late John Young and the late Ruth (Rose) Young. He is survived by his children, Geri Ann Collins (Jeremy), John Parsons, and Gracelyn Young; and his sister, Vickie Rickett (Danny).
