He was a son of the late Fred and Mildred Nash and beloved son-in-law of Ronnie and Betty Jones. He was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Nash and brother Jimmy Nash. He was known for his ability to fix anything and was unwavering in his love and support for his family and friends. He graduated from Corbin High School and worked many years as an insurance agent. A faithful follower of Christ, he belonged to The Creek Church of London, KY where he volunteered. Eddie enjoyed many hobbies but fishing was his love. He was a boat captain for the Corbin High School Fishing Team. He was a devoted husband to Cindy Nash through their blessed marriage of nearly 15 years. He was a wonderful and doting father to his five children: Roxanne Doane, Brigetta and Bryan Crawford, Richard and Dawn Doane, Paige and Coleman Hughes, and Jacob Nash; grandchildren, Stella and Drakken; siblings, Vickie and Larry Greene, Freddie and Sheri Nash, Bill and Evelyn Nash, Donna Nash, Dale and Sondra Nash, Jeff and Bobbi Jones, and Jennifer and Bebo Bruner; many nieces and nephews, as well as several other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing. His love will be irreplaceable. “It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” (I Corinthians 13:7-8) The funeral was held Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Ron Green officiating. Burial followed in the Nash Family Cemetery.
