Amanda Norris, born in 1993, possession of drug paraphernalia – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, plus court costs. Patricia A. Norris, born in 1976, possession of drug paraphernalia – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years. Crystal M. Reeves, born in 1986, controlled substance prescription not in original container – six-month diversion. Linda Rose, theft-shoplifting – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged after first seven days are served, sentence to be served on weekends, plus court costs. Brandy N. Satterfield, born in 1999, theft-shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged after first seven days are served, sentence to be served on weekends, stay out of Dollar Store. Brianna Smothers, born in 1999, theft-shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years after first seven days are served, sentence to be served on weekends, plus court costs, stay out of Dollar Store. Joseph R. Tye, born in 1983 – motion for shock probation granted. Anthony Vanderpool, born in 1983, cultivating marijuana less than five plants – 90-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, plus court costs. Justin D. White, born in 1989, possession of drug paraphernalia – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, plus court costs. The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on Oct. 25: Shanon D. Breedlove, born in 1971, no operator’s/moped license, careless driving – $183 fines and court costs. Shanon D. Breedlove, born in 1971, failure to illuminate head lamps, reckless driving, failure to or improper signal, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, improper equipment, no auto insurance – 270-day jail sentence probated for two years after the first four days are served, credit two days already served, operator’s license suspended for 90 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $825 fine plus fees and costs. Danny Jason Davis, born in 1981, hindering prosecution or apprehension – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 10 days are served, $423 fine and court costs. Leah R. Hayes, born in 1990, giving officer false name or address – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years after first seven days are served, $173 fines and court costs. Joshua Scott Sexton, born in 1996, no tail lamps, no brake lights, rear license plate not illuminated, obstructed vision and/or windshield, two counts of failure to wear seatbelts, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to produce vehicle insurance card, improper display of registration plates, failure to notify address change to department of transportation, no auto insurance, improper equipment – 270-day jail sentence probated for two years, $950 fine plus court costs. The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on Oct. 29: Courtney Earls, born in 1995, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs. David L. Haynes, born in 1963, possession of marijuana, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs. Gregory Allen Kersey, born in 1975, obstructed vision and/or windshield, failure to wear seatbelts, third-degree possession of a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, must enroll in and complete long-term rehab, $50 fine. Glennis Z. Lawson, born in 1960, failure to wear seatbelts, improper equipment – $50 fine plus court costs. Tiffany Morgan, born in 1987, second-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, theft under $500, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no auto insurance – 12-month jail sentence probated after first seven days are served, credit 10 days already served, operator’s license suspended for 12 months, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $350 fine plus fees and costs. Amanda E. Patrick, born in 1984, no auto insurance – $500 fine plus court costs. Leo A. Shelton, born in 1987, failure to wear seatbelts, no auto insurance – $525 fine plus court costs. Kevin Swafford, born in 1984, third-degree possession of a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, must enroll in and complete long-term rehab, not to be released from jail until rehab bed is available. Benjamin L. Wynn, born in 1991, alcohol intoxication – pre-paid in full. Joshua Lee Bennett, born in 1979, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol, contempt of court – 12-month jail sentence, may receive shock probation when long-term rehab bed is available, court costs, credit time served towards costs. Jason Taylor, failure to produce vehicle insurance card, license not in possession – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $500 fine.
