Moses, born in 1984, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, attend alcohol and drug education classes, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, $200 fine plus fees and costs. Christopher Joe Petrey, born in 1979, second-degree criminal mischief – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus costs and restitution, no contact with Minnie Partin or her family, staff off Whitley County school property. Christopher Joe Petrey, born in 1979, two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, costs, no contact with Wilma Lindsay. Dannie Ray Vanover, born in 1974, disorderly conduct – $100 fine plus costs. Tina King, born in 1971, public intoxication, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 35 days are served, credit time served, attend two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly, concurrent with prior sentence. The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on Dec. 7: James Curry, born in 1985, no auto insurance – $50 fine. Adam Fite, born in 1985, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, controlled substance prescription not in original container – six-month jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $300 fine plus court costs. Lloyd Gibson, born in 1980, no/expired registration plates, no auto insurance, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seatbelts – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $200 fine plus court costs. Lea Raye Hayes, born in 1990, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – $100 fine plus court costs. Leah R. Hayes, born in 1990, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – $100 fine. Joshua Hubbard, born in 1984, theft-shoplifting under $500, contempt of court – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged, stay out of Walmart in contempt case; Jan. 8 sentencing hearing in theft case. Anthony Wayne Lawson, born in 1970, receiving stolen property under $500, third-degree criminal trespassing – Jan. 8 sentencing hearing scheduled.
