He was born May 6, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Glenwood Cureton; mother, Catherine (Gardner) Standifer; and grandson, Mitchel Lee Day. He is survived by his son, Charlie Cureton; daughter, Irene Elliott; mother of his children, Tamara J. Anderson; grandchildren, Joseph Elliott and wife Kaylee, Caleb, Khole, Thomas, Brentyn, and Terrance; brothers, Glen Cureton and Brenda, Jack Cureton, Tony Kandik, Tad Standifer and wife Bonnie, Rodney George Standifer, Tunney Standifer and wife Rose; sisters, Shenna Sue Stump, Nioka Thomas, Helen Caddell and husband Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 30, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
