  A Williamsburg man died early Friday evening when he was struck by a CSX train.

 The legal saga involving former Whitley County Sheriff Lawrence Hodge, who is currently serving 15.5 years in a federal prison, ended Thursday afternoon.

 Nine people from the tri-county area were among 479 that were arrested in a state-wide sweep of suspected drug dealers by Kentucky State Police Friday.

A Corbin man was arrested on Halloween for destroying decorative displays in downtown Corbin in broad daylight — and part of the destruction was captured on video.
