UPDATED: Former UofC wrestler, accused of sex abuse, released from jail following Tuesday hearing

A former University of the Cumberlands wrestler was released from jail Tuesday afternoon after allegedly tying up his girlfriend and ripping part of her cloths off in a school parking lot during the early morning hours of Sept. 2.

Hounds edge Tates Creek

 The Corbin Redhounds will not get much time to celebrate their victory over the Lexington Tates Creek Commodores Friday night, 21-14, because the Danville Admirals are coming to town.

Three arrested for stealing scrap metal from old truck stop site

Three Corbin men were arrested Wednesday for stealing scrap metal from a southern Laurel County truck stop that is in the process of being demolished.
