Former Whitley County Sheriff Lawrence Hodge is in jail after pleading guilty Thursday to charges of extortion, drug trafficking and money laundering.

 Chris Baker ended a four-year tenure as Whitley County Boys Basketball Coach resigning effective Monday May 9^th.

 It’s regional tennis time around the state. Kentucky High School tournaments will begin this week leading to the state finals, May 26-28 at the UK Boone/Downing Tennis Complex in Lexington.
