The Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. has announced the lineup for its 49th season, and a gala, featuring the music of the Southern Fried Jazz Band, will be held Sunday, Aug. 22 at the Corbin High School Auditorium to celebrate the beginning of the season.

Corbin city leaders agree to extend, expand search for new Arena manager

Corbin city leaders agreed unanimously Monday to extend and widen their search for someone to manage the town's 5,000-seat arena responding to a scarcity of applications received when the position was advertised in July.

Sheriff’s Dept. investigating string of A/C unit thefts from community churches

Police are investigating a series of air conditioning unit thefts from area churches in the last week, and are looking for community help in solving the crimes.
